To facilitate the development of a national e-health strategy, the Ministry of Public Health has established the National Innovation Agency, which serves as a source of financial and professional assistance to digital health service providers. Furthermore, NIA organizes competitions and seminars designed to spur development of innovative applications and services related to digital healthcare.

Additionally, the e-health strategy calls for the establishment of an innovation center to support research and development of digital health and telemedicine, as well as aid healthcare procurement officers when procuring digital health solutions.

An essential component of an e-health strategy is increasing access to affordable and accessible telemedicine services for remote areas, while developing infrastructure which ensures its secure operation and reliability.
